UPMC Shadyside is looking for a Clinical Exercise Physiologist to join our team on a full-time basis! + The schedule for this role is Monday-Friday 9:00 am-5:30 pm, and an occasional weekend rotation. The person in this position may work in the inpatient and/or outpatient settings. Proficient in EKG interpretation. Conducts non-invasive cardiology testing which may include stress testing, Holter monitoring, and the technical functions of the pacemaker clinic. Provides group and individual exercise therapy for patients with chronic disease. Applies EKG telemetry and accurately performs 12 lead EKGs. Performs initial assessments, develops individualized treatment plans, safely and effectively administers individual and group exercise therapies, evaluates progress, and documents outcomes on patients to improve functional capacity and to offset the detrimental effects of inactivity. Educate on disease states, recovery, smoking cessation, hypertension, diabetes, medication compliance, nutrition, lipid management and stress management. Maintains open communications with coworkers, physicians and other dept staff.

Demonstrates appropriate techniques when working with students.
Completes all student and administrative documentation accurately and within facility time frames.
Qualifications
BS, MS, MPT, or DPT from an accredited Physical Therapy school.
Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in Pennsylvania
Successful completion of a pediatric affiliation or previous experience with a pediatric population is preferred.
Act 33/34 Clearances; FBI Clearance.

Immediate job opening for a licensed PRN Physical Therapist with orthopedic and sports experience to support our 9 clinics. Prefer at least 2 years' experience; but open to the
right
recent graduate. Vestibular PT experience preferred though not required.
Qualifications
Current and valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Pennsylvania
Strong passion for orthopedic physical therapy
