Job Summary:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Evaluates and treats adult patients referred for physical therapy
Maintains accurate and complete patient records in RehabOptima and WebPT (EMR system)
Maintains a patient treatment schedule consistent with the needs of the clinic
Excels in the area of customer service; Monitors and trains this expectation to staff
Available on-site to coach and develop staff, answer questions, deploy new work initiatives as directed by upper management
Supports the clinic and clinical staff and occasionally assumes these responsibilities in their absence
Required Education, Certifications and Licenses:
Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy;
Previous experience in management and clinical experience in and ALF or SNF
Iowa PT license or be eligible for Iowa PT license (Iowa is a compact state)
Current CPR card
Skills and Abilities:
Excellent customer service skills, interpersonal and communication skills
Team player and effective at building and fostering teamwork as well as maintain composure when dealing with conflict
Active listening skills
Able to adapt to change
Effectively manage time, timely decision making and manage priorities
