Physician Affiliate Group of New York CEO and leadership

Luis Marcos is a Chief Executive Officer at Physician Affiliate Group of New York. He has worked as President/CEO at New York City Health & Hospita. Luis works or has worked as FELLOW at American Psychiatric Association, MEMBER at New York State Board for Medicine, and FELLOW at New York Academy of Medicine. He studied at University of Seville.

As CAO, Jacqueline is PAGNY’s site leader at NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County, overseeing finance, human resources, payroll and compliance operations and the Physician Faculty Practice plan.

Jacqueline comes to PAGNY with strong experience in administrative and healthcare management, financial planning, human capital management and corporate compliance. Jacqueline began her career in Community Health Services in 1992 at Cabrini Medical Center as the Practice Manager of an Outpatient Clinic. She was later served as Director of Ambulatory Care. She went on to serve as the Administrative Director of NYU’s Transplant Center. Prior to joining us she worked for WellLife Network as the Senior Vice President of Administration and Quality Assurance. She has a Master of Science in Health Management and a Master of Business Administration, both from Saint Joseph College, where she remains a part time Professor and Advisor. Jacqueline received a BA from Baruch College.

As Chief Operating Officer, Jorge plays a pivotal role on PAGNY’s executive management team. He oversees the operations at PAGNY’s affiliate hospitals as well as at the Rikers Correctional Center. He assists with the negotiation of the organization’s upcoming hospital affiliation renewal contract with NYC Health + Hospitals. Additionally, he leads PAGNY administration standardizations efforts, strategic community initiatives and government relations.

Previously, Jorge has provided direction and leadership for nearly 15 years as the Deputy Executive Director of the NYC Charter Revision Commission, the Founder and Executive Director of the NY State Office for New Americans, the Program Lead for the Empire State Poverty Reduction Initiative, and the Associate Commissioner of the NYS Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance. He also advised members of the Medicaid Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment (DSRIP) Program advisory board, with a particular focus on structure and payment points for community-based health facilities, workforce development and the social determinant of health.

As CAO, Nicole is PAGNY’s site leader at Coney Island, overseeing finance, human resources, payroll, compliance and the Physician Faculty Practice plan.

Prior to her role as CAO, Nicole served as the Assistant Director, Affiliation Management for NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan, where managed contract compliance for the facility, including that of the PAGNY Affiliation Contract. She has previously worked with PAGNY as a budget analyst for contracted services at NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan. Additionally, she has 10 years of experience working with various labor unions in New York City and Washington, DC.

Nicole holds a Master’s of Business Administration degree from Strayer University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from The George Washington University.

As CAO, Sandra is PAGNY’s site leader at NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi and North Central Bronx, overseeing finance, human resources, payroll and compliance operations and the Physician Faculty Practice plan. She previously served as PAGNY’s Director of Finance, where she worked with budget analysts to maximize revenue for PAGNY.

Prior to coming to PAGNY in 2015, Sandra served in a number of important positions at the North Bronx Healthcare Network, including Affiliation Contract Manager and Budget Director. She has also served in several administrative positions at the NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi, including Deputy Budget Director and Supervising Systems Analyst.

Sandra received her Bachelor’s degree in accounting from Mercy College. She has lived in the Bronx her entire life and, as a child, remembers taking her grandmother to Jacobi for medical appointments. It was those visits that inspired Ms. Maldonado to pursue a career in healthcare.
