As a Faculty Physician, you will be responsible for educating and supervising the Program's residents on a day to day basis within a 24/7 inpatient service. These physicians are responsible for the development of rotation objectives and coordination of didactics, including lectures, subspecialty board reviews, etc. Accepts residents who rotate in their inpatient or outpatient service to increase the resident's understanding of the practice and service line. Faculty Physicians work collaboratively with the Medical Education Department in establishing rotation objectives. Is responsible for providing patient care services to the Primary Health Care Inc (PHC) patient population in assigned clinic sites. Works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide, delegate, evaluate, and coordinate comprehensive professional care for patients of all cultures and backgrounds. Meets ever changing healthcare challenges while engaging patients in holistic care. Utilizes established workflows to ensure patient and staff satisfaction and organizational financial success. MINIMUM OUALIFICATIONS
Current license to practice in the State of Iowa
Board certification in applicable specialty within five years of residency training, fellowship waiver approved by the Credentials Committee, Medical Executive Committee, and Board of Trustees.

* Assist in conducting intakes. Physicians see patients after they have already undergone an extensive evaluation by the counselor.
