Deliver interventions throughout the full spectrum of Cardiology care, with a good diagnostic and therapeutic acumen. * Perform full general cardiology examinations on established or newly consulted patients, including electronic consultations (e-Consults) in the Cardiology clinics, for signs or symptoms of cardiac disease. * Identify, evaluate, and address cardiac diseases, prevention, and health promotion issues of the Veteran population. * Consult manage and provide education and counseling of Veterans in preventative care and apply evidence-based care for various cardiac conditions. * Supervise and interpret echocardiograms (including stress, dobutamine and transesophageal echocardiograms). * Interpret holter monitor studies. * Interpret event recorder studies. * Interpret electrocardiograms (EKGs). * Certified in Nuclear Cardiology. * Supervise and interpret exercise stress tests. * Complete medical records in accordance with Medical Staff Bylaws, Rules and Regulations. * Participate in quality assurance programs and chart reviews.
