    Cardiac and Thoracic Surgery Associates (CTSA) is seeking a personable and motivated surgical Physician Assistant to join our growing team. CTSA is the largest cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgery provider in the CommonSpirit system. We have two practice locations, one in Denver and the other in Colorado Springs. This position is for our Denver location at St. Anthony hospital. Our practice is composed of six (6) cardiothoracic surgeons, one (1) dedicated thoracic surgeon, and two (2) vascular surgeons. The vascular surgeons are located at our Penrose Hospital office in Colorado Springs. Collectively, when fully staffed, we have ten (10) advanced practice providers in our practice who support care at our two locations. Responsibilities include: Caring for cardiothoracic patients in a stepdown and ICU setting, including crafting daily patient progress notes, writing consult notes, and order entry. Our program is supported by two (2) dedicated nurse practitioners who assist with daily rounding and discharge planning. Proportional on call responsibilities with surgeon support. Conduit harvest (endoscopic and open vein harvest and radial artery harvest). First assist on all cardiac and minimal thoracic cases both open and minimally invasive (VATS and Robotic) Minimal office-based clinic seeing post-operative patients.
