The University of Minnesota Medical Center (UMMC) is a 1,932 licensed bed facility, Level III Trauma Center, Stroke Center and Level I Cardiac Center. Between our two adult emergency departments, approximately 50,000 patients are seen with close to 14,000 admissions annually. In our pediatric emergency department approximately 23,000 patients are seen annually accounting for 3,000 admissions.
Our PAs and NPs serve as integral members of a multidisciplinary team providing excellence in emergency medical care. In addition, the PA/NP coordinates care with consultant services, recommends follow-up care, facilitates referral to various internal and external facilities and takes part in multidisciplinary continuous quality improvement.
Our UMMC Adult Emergency Medicine provider group includes about 40 physicians and a growing number of PAs/NPs. Patients are seen in both the West and East Bank Emergency Departments, which house over 50 beds. In this role, you will:

Our Requirements are:
Minnesota NP or PA License in good standing.
We prefer previous Family Medicine or Primary Care experience.
