We are seeking a Locum Laborist to provide 24-hour in-house call coverage, with shifts from 7a to 7a. Weekend coverage is required, and the need for sporadic ongoing coverage exists due to a significant decrease in OB/GYN physician coverage within the last year.
Key Responsibilities:
Call ratio varies based on patient volume.
Supervision of other healthcare providers is required.
Onsite lab and ultrasound facilities available.
Manage low-risk and high-risk pregnancies, as well as GYN cases.
Perform GYN surgeries, with an average of 2-3 surgeries per day.
Handle C-sections, with approximately 35% of patients requiring this procedure.
Admit an average of 3 nursery patients per day to a Level II nursery.

Number of Physicians in Practice: 5 (3 full-time, 2 part-time)
Part-time physicians only take call with no clinic coverage.
