The APP will work in a complimentary environment that provides access to in-house X-rays, ultrasound machine, physical therapy, and orthopedic specialists. You will be treated as a partner with the pain management physician and given autonomy to build your own practice. Job Duties and Responsibilities: APP Duties Evaluate guests (patients) in the office by obtaining a history and performing a physical exam. Order appropriate imaging studies, lab tests, and medical provider referrals. Prescribe appropriate interventional procedures to diagnose and treat various pain issues. Perform in-office injections such as peripheral joint injections, nerve blocks, and trigger point injections. Ultrasound guidance will be used for most of these injections. Document a guest's history, physical exam, lab results, imaging results, and plan in an electronic medical record in an accurate, timely, and efficient manner.
