Busy Upper Extremity Orthopedic surgery practice with Dr. Patrick Olson (******************************************* with a subspecialty in elbow, wrist, and hand surgery as well as general orthopedic trauma. 3-4 days per week will be with Dr. Olson primarily in Park City and the other 1-2 days a week will be dedicated towards working in our new orthopedic urgent care in Salt Lake. The candidate should be comfortable with (or be willing to be trained in) the following skills: first assisting with surgery and in all aspects of surgical care including pre-op and post-operative treatment. The candidate needs to be willing to run her or his own clinic with guidance/supervision. Clinic duties including basic EMR expertise, casting, splinting, placement and removal of stitches, dressing changes, joint injections, pre-procedure anesthetic injections, prepping, assisting, and closing of minor in-office hand surgical procedures, and processing of surgical instruments.
