The PA shall be capable of performing a full range of general medical services to include the ability and experience to adequately diagnose and treat urgent/acute disease and injuries including but not limited to: Skin, Head, Eyes, Ears, Nose, Nose/Throat, Neck, Cardiovascular System, Gastrointestinal System, Lymphatic System, Musculoskeletal System, Genitourinary System, Reproductive System, Psychiatric Disease, Central Nervous System, Endocrine System, and Peripheral Nervous System. Provide a full range of emergency services or crisis intervention in the absence of the physician, including lifesaving emergency procedures to stabilize a patient within the scope of practice and approved protocols. Examine all eligible company healthcare system beneficiaries for emergency medical care to render a medical assessment of their condition and take appropriate action. Provide immediate evaluation and management of emergency patients as they present themselves for care, seeing no less than an average of two patients per hour.
