🎓 What We're Looking For:
MD or DO with an active TX medical license + DEA
CPR/ACLS certified
2+ years clinical experience (Family Medicine or Primary Care preferred)
Clinical trials experience is a plus
Passion for research, safety, and patient-centered care
Open to candidates interested in moving to area and obtain state licensure.
Language skills: English proficient in speaking, writing, and reading.
Fortrea may consider relevant and equivalent experience in lieu of educational requirements.
Work Environment:
Work is performed in a laboratory and/or a clinical environment with exposure to electrical office equipment.
Occasional drives to site locations, occasional domestic travel.
Exposure to biological fluids.
Personal protective equipment required such as protective eyewear, garments and gloves.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to work in an upright and /or stationary position for 6-8 hours per day.
Repetitive hand movement of both hands with the ability to make fast, simple, repeated movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists to operate lab equipment.
Occasional crouching, stooping, with frequent bending and twisting of upper body and neck.
Ability to access and use a variety of computer software developed both in-house and off-the-shelf.
Light to moderate lifting and carrying (or otherwise moves) objects including luggage and laptop computer with a maximum lift of 15-20 lbs.
Regular and consistent attendance.
Varied hours may be required.

NextCare Urgent Care is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to provide medical care to urgent care patients in Dalas, TX.
Responsibilities
The Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner is responsible for the following:
* Evaluating and treating patients in accordance with clinical best practices for an urgent care and/or occupational health setting.
* Providing compassionate and respectful patient care consistent with NextCare services, values and mission statement.
* Treating all patients who present to the clinic appropriately and discuss the treatment plan with the patient ensuring there is a clear understanding of the next steps.
* Documenting care utilizing the electronic documentation system.
* Taking personal responsibility for appropriately coding and billing for care rendered.
* Delivering exemplary care and act in a legal and ethical manner.
* Maintaining clinical productivity consistent with peers and industry standards for a similar setting.
* Follow up on patient care as indicated.

Essential Education, Experience and Skills:
* Active and unrestricted medical license
* Active D.E.A.
