The Physician Assistant handles patient appointments and performs routine examinations to ensure patient health. The duties include speaking with patients about healthy lifestyle choices for their age, conducting diagnostic tests to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with injuries or illnesses, and coordinating with other healthcare professionals to maintain up-to-date medical records. NOELA Community Health Center, NOELA CHC, is a community health center and Federally Qualified Health Center that provides primary medical care to patients in New Orleans East and the surrounding area.
