Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Functional Medicine Practitioner to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate will have a background in functional or integrative medicine and be skilled in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients seeking optimized health, longevity, and improved quality of life.
In this role, you will help develop and deliver individualized wellness plans that may include hormone replacement therapy (HRT), weight management protocols, peptide therapy, nutritional guidance, and hair restoration treatments. This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving practice with a built-in patient base and a strong referral network while helping to grow a new wellness program.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive consultations to assess patient history, lifestyle, and health goals.
Order, interpret, and explain advanced functional and specialty lab testing (hormone panels, micronutrient testing, gut and metabolic assessments, etc.).
Develop individualized treatment plans that may include:
Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT)
Weight management protocols, including GLP-1 medications (e.g., Semaglutide, Tirzepatide)
Nutraceutical and supplement recommendations
Dietary and lifestyle interventions
Administer and manage hormone replacement therapy (bioidentical and traditional).
Evaluate and prescribe appropriate weight loss medications within established protocols.
Collaborate with clinical and aesthetic providers on adjunct wellness services such as hair restoration therapies.
Educate patients on prevention, long-term wellness strategies, and functional medicine principles.
Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on follow-up assessments and lab results.
Maintain accurate, compliant medical records in accordance with HIPAA and state regulations.
Stay current with emerging research and trends in functional, regenerative, and aesthetic medicine.
Participate in marketing activities, educational seminars, and community events promoting wellness services.
Qualifications
NP or PA with active state licensure.
Certification or advanced training in Functional Medicine (IFM, A4M, or similar) preferred.
Experience with hormone replacement therapy, peptide therapy, or integrative wellness strongly preferred.
Knowledge of weight loss medications (including GLP-1s and phentermine) and patient management strategies.
Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient education.

The Surgical Physician Assistant (PA) provides patient care in collaboration with surgeons/physicians. Conducts surgical history/physical exams, orders and interprets diagnostic/lab tests and develops plan of care. Writes prescriptions, controlled substances per Delineation of Privileges. First assists in surgery. Performs surgical procedures in the operating room under the direct supervision of the surgeon. Performs procedures in the clinic under direct or indirect supervision. The PA has synergistic relationship with the surgeon and highly technical skills increases patient safety and positive surgical outcomes. Enables the continuity of care by managing patients in the pre, intra and post operative settings. Performs inpatient rounding, consultations, wound care and bedside procedures. In the outpatient setting, manages clinics, clinic procedures, facilitates family and patient education, and participates in grand rounds. Works directly with staff, administration, patients and families to ensure quality care across the continuum as an expert in surgical practice areas. Performs on-call coverage requiring high-level decision making on weekdays, weeknights, and weekends inclusive of surgery. Estimated salary range for this position is $126148.63 - $163993.22 / year depending on experience. Degrees:

Education:
Higher Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery, Clinical Medicine and Community Health from a recognized institution, bachelor's degree in various domains of health care science and medicine, or graduation from a Physician Assistant Education Program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission for Physician Assistant Education, Inc. (ARC-PA), or its predecessors, and acceptable to the Service-specific guidelines and with a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (MS-PAS or MPAS) or Master of Physician Assistant Medicine (MAPM)
All U.S. Physician Assistant graduates must pass the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination (PANCE)
Certification:
Required certification will be based on country of candidates' licensure. (Credentialing RN to ensure all certifications based on country of licensure are met)
All U.S. Physician Assistant graduates must be Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
Current, valid certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
License:

Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseMinimum Qualifications: MD or DO degree, an active physician license (in good standing) in the state of practice for this role. Required Skills:
Clinical skills including phlebotomy, vitals, ECGs/EKGs, IVs, etc., and clinical procedures based on area of specialty.
