Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive consultations to assess patient history, lifestyle, and health goals. Develop individualized treatment plans that may include: Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) Weight management protocols, including GLP-1 medications (e.g., Semaglutide, Tirzepatide) Nutraceutical and supplement recommendations Dietary and lifestyle interventions Administer and manage hormone replacement therapy (bioidentical and traditional). Evaluate and prescribe appropriate weight loss medications within established protocols. Collaborate with clinical and aesthetic providers on adjunct wellness services such as hair restoration therapies. Educate patients on prevention, long-term wellness strategies, and functional medicine principles. Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on follow-up assessments and lab results. Maintain accurate, compliant medical records in accordance with HIPAA and state regulations. Stay current with emerging research and trends in functional, regenerative, and aesthetic medicine. Participate in marketing activities, educational seminars, and community events promoting wellness services. Qualifications NP or PA with active state licensure. Certification or advanced training in Functional Medicine (IFM, A4M, or similar) preferred. Experience with hormone replacement therapy, peptide therapy, or integrative wellness strongly preferred. Knowledge of weight loss medications (including GLP-1s and phentermine) and patient management strategies. Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient education. The Physician Assistant, Specialty incumbent must demonstrate the ability to function both independently and in collaboration with other health care professionals. The Physician Assistant, Specialty incumbent adheres to strict departmental goals/objectives, standards of performance, regulatory compliance, quality patient care compliance, and policies and procedures. Functions independently as a certified nurse practitioner in collaboration and consultation with a licensed patient care team physician. Practices in accordance with a written or electronic collaborative practice agreement. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Contributes to physician's effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range patient care issues that must be addressed; providing information and commentary pertinent to deliberations; recommending options and courses of action; implementing physician directives. Assesses patient health by interviewing patients; performing physical examinations; obtaining, updating, and studying medical histories. Determines abnormal conditions by administering or ordering diagnostic tests, such as x-rays, electrocardiograms, echocardiograms and laboratory studies; interpreting test results. Documents patient care services by charting in patient and department records. Performs therapeutic procedures by administering injections and immunizations; suturing; managing wounds and infections. Instructs and counsels patients by describing therapeutic regimens; giving normal growth and development information; discussing family planning; providing counseling on emotional problems of daily living; promoting wellness and health maintenance. Provides continuity of care by developing and implementing patient management plans. Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols. Complies with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. Develops health care team staff by providing information, educational opportunities, and experiential growth opportunities. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Cardiology duties include identifying and managing cardiology patients, ordering appropriate cardiology diagnostic tests, and administering cardiology specific therapeutic interventions as needed Other duties as assigned and modified at manager's discretion.
