Our ample staffing includes 51 hours of Physician coverage a day, including existing full-time night coverage, 36 hours of Advanced Practitioner Support, and scribes. Additionally, we are the community site for rotating Emergency Medicine PGY3 residents from Hackensack University Medical Center. Support services include a 24/7 interventional catheterization lab, stroke neurology and neurosurgical coverage, and in-house pediatric hospitalist and critical care intensivist.
The Physician's Assistant organizes and conducts a medically prescribed program to restore function, prevent disability following disease, injury or loss of a body part and help the patient reach his/her maximum performance. This includes but is not limited to: evaluation and treatment of patients, patient and family education, participation in clinical education programs, implementing programs and other professional duties.
