At Houston Methodist, the Surgical Physician Assistant (PA) functions as an advanced practice practitioner maintaining and promoting the health of the patient requiring care, practicing medicine under the supervision of a licensed physician. The surgical PA position will assist the physician in the global management of patient care in all peri-operative settings, their primary role is to assist licensed physicians in patient surgery.
