What you'll be working on:
Managing a patient panel with a broad array of patient needs; conducting a mix of acute, chronic, and well visits
Treating patients in-office or in testing centers as well as conducting occasional tele-health visits
Continuous learning during weekly Clinical Rounds and through other modalities
Ongoing collaboration with in-office teammates via daily huddles, as well as with virtual clinical teams
Utilization of your specific clinical training and opportunities to perform in-office procedures
Education, licenses, and experiences required for this role:
Completed an accredited FNP or PA program with a national certification
In the past 5 years, practiced as an Advanced Practitioner for at least:
2 years in an outpatient primary care setting seeing patients of all ages (0+), OR 1 year in an outpatient primary care setting seeing patients of all ages (0+), coupled with either a 1 year primary care fellowship or 1+ year in an urgent care setting seeing patients of all ages (0+)
State licensed in California, obtained by your One Medical start date

One Medical is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
The base salary range for this role is $164,700 to $175,000 based on a full-time schedule. Final determination of starting pay may vary based on factors such as practice experience and patient care schedule. 1. CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide primary care to members, including histories, exams, lab tests, prescriptions and referrals within prescribed up to date guidelines and protocols.

Our Brentwood team is comprised of one board certified family medicine physician and tenured support staff

Job Summary
We are seeking a PhysicianAssistant to join our team! As a PhysicianAssistant, you will be examining patients, collecting patient medical history, and making tentative diagnoses on minor and major issues. You will also be reading diagnostic tests and reports, interpreting data, taking the time with each patient to explain their test results and medical diagnoses, and prescribing therapy or medication with a physician's approval. The ideal candidate has an excellent bedside manner, experience charting in a medical environment, and has strong communication and interpersonal skills.
If interested will be taught hands on procedures with ultrasound guidance. Can also preform aesthetic procedures under guidance.
Responsibilities
Examine each patient, take a detailed medical history, and chart everything medically important in their records
Read test results, interpret data appropriately, and make diagnostic suggestions based on those results
Explain to the patient test results and expected health outcomes
Prescribe medication or therapy with a physician overseeing as part of a larger health plan
Work closely other PhysicianAssistants, and Physicians to formulate a full, comprehensive treatment plan
Qualifications
Valid state licensing required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience with medical terminology, charting, and diagnostic tests
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
