What winning looks like:
* Lead and develop collaborative multidisciplinary wound care teams
* Travel to scheduled locations weekly for wound rounds and house calls, in an assigned region
* Provide the highest quality skin and wound care services to patients
* Order, interpret, and evaluate laboratory and diagnostic studies to assess change to patients' health care needs
* Perform bedside wound care skills including: wound assessment, dressing application, pressure relief, pain/odor control, and minor surgical procedures
* Track the progress of wound healing and document timely in UWH's own wound care EMR
* Develop a treatment plan for skin and wound conditions based on the individual needs of each patient, and UWH's Clinical Practice Guidelines
* Collaborate virtually with our medical leadership including board certified physicians and surgeons specializing in wound care, dermatology, podiatry, vascular surgery, and infectious disease
Skills required for winning:
* This fast-paced position requires standing for extended amounts of time
* Driving! You must have reliable transportation; valid driver's license and current auto insurance
* Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP, FNP, ARNP, APRN) or PhysicianAssistant (PA-C) licensed in working state
* Active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) license
* 1-2 years of wound care and/or surgical experience (highly preferred, but not required); extensive training available
* Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work/schedule appointments independently
* Must be trustworthy, honest and have a positive and professional attitude
* Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of people through both verbal and written communication lines
Compensation Range: $130,000.00 - 146,000.00 DOE with bonus potential (1.0FTE range)

Hours: Typical hours are Monday through Friday; 6:00am - 3:00pm, no nights, weekends, or call
