The Opportunity:
The One Medical Virtual Medical Team (VMT) is a leading provider of virtual clinical care, providing world-class, convenient, evidence-based virtual medical care to One Medical patients in concert with their primary care providers. Through advanced technology and a team-based approach, we care for patients 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Employment type:
Full time (40 hours including evenings and weekends)
What you'll be working on:
Treating patients via tele-health visits, including telephonic triage calls, video visit appointments, and email follow-ups
Continuous learning during weekly Clinical Rounds and through other modalities
Ongoing collaboration with both virtual and in-office teammates via daily huddles
Utilization of your specific clinical training and opportunities to give exceptional care to patients virtually
Education, licenses, and experiences required for this role:
Completed an accredited PA program with a national certification
Currently licensed in DC with ability to obtain additional state licenses as needed
In the past 5 years, practiced as an Advanced Practitioner for at least:
2 years in an outpatient primary care setting seeing patients of all ages (0+), OR 2 years in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting seeing patients of all ages (0+) Ability to work weekday and weekend shifts (every other Saturday and Sunday required)
Ability to work afternoons and evenings (current shifts range from 6a - 5p or or 9a - 8p or 11a - 10p)
Excellent clinical and communication skills

One Medical is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
The base hourly range for this role is $56.50 to $63.00 per hour based on a full-time schedule plus evening and weekend differential. Final determination of starting pay may vary based on factors such as practice experience, physical location (state you live in) and patient care schedule. Compensation

Candidate will perform Coronary artery bypass, Aortic valve surgery, Minimally invasive cardiac surgery, Aortic surgery, Hybred EP, Endoscopic vein harvest, Will do all CV surgery aside from Heart Transplant procedures! Presently our APP's work 5 8 hour shifts and take on call 1/4th weekend. And during the week on-call responsibilities rotates one out of every 6th night.
Professional responsibilities for this position include surgical first-assistance to our team of cardiothoracic surgeons. Experience in open and endoscopic vein harvesting preferred. Responsibilities also include perioperative patient care in ICU, step-down and regular surgical floor settings.
QUALIFICATIONS:· Graduate of a program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission for Physician Assistant Programs· Current NCCPA certification· Licensed or licensure-eligible in Virginia· Current ACLS certification· Minimum of two years relevant PA experience in cardiovascular/thoracic surgery is desired. Position Overview
As a Physician Assistant in our clinic, you will play a crucial role in helping patients achieve their weight loss goals through personalized care, consultation, injection therapy, education, and support. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' medical history, current health status, weight-related concerns, and goals.
Collaborate with supervising physician and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized weight loss plans tailored to each patient's needs, preferences, and medical conditions.
Perform procedures such as administering injections, prescribing medications, and managing medical devices as needed for weight management.
Offer medical guidance and counseling to patients regarding injection therapy, behavior modification, and medication management for weight loss and weight maintenance.
Monitor patients' progress regularly through follow-up appointments, track changes in weight, body composition, and overall health status, and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, documenting patient assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and any pertinent communications with other healthcare providers.

Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant university program.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $118,289.00 to $123,662.00 per year.
The posted salary range for this position takes into account various factors, including the candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations. Additionally, the salary offered within this range may be subject to a geographic adjustment, based on a specific city and state, and depending on the role. This adjustment would occur if authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
