Practice Details: The Acute and Diagnostic Services team is a member of the primary care health care team who works in collaboration with physicians, advanced practice providers and other medical staff to provide acute and diagnostic services to stable patients that are not available or feasible in a primary care clinic. The role of an ADS Nurse Practitioner is to provide assessment and treatment for stable patients who require services that are more complex, require a longer intervention, or are services that are not provided in a typical primary care or urgent care clinic - but do not require emergency department stabilization services. Patients are referred to the ADS from Fairview Urgent Care or Primary Care Clinic locations.
