The salary range for this role is $226,000 to $366,000 annually based on full-time employment. Salary Range is defined as total cash compensation at target. The actual range and pay mix of base and bonus is variable based upon experience and metric achievement. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. As a Neurohospitalist with experience treating stroke patients (Vascular Neurology fellowship preferred) you will provide consultations and management for patients in the ED and the Inpatient Units, and will see patients in the Stroke follow up clinic.
Inpatient coverage including a share of evening call coverage.
Limited outpatient coverage in the Stroke follow up clinic
Stroke clinic is part of a transitional care model with support from a stroke nurse navigator and APPs.
Opportunity to provide hands-on clinical supervision and teaching for our residents, students, fellows, and advance practice providers if desired.
Comfort with acute stroke care is essential, including treatment decisions for thrombolytics and Endovascular Thrombectomy.
