Responsibilities:
Team Leadership and Collaboration
Collaborate with the clinic manager and medical team to achieve clinical and operational excellence
Client Evaluation and Care
Conduct comprehensive consultations to evaluate client needs and suitability for hair transplant procedures
Administer prescribed medications and manage local anesthesia during procedures
Provide thorough follow-up care, assessing outcomes and addressing client concerns
Surgical Procedure Leadership
Perform all aspects of hair restoration procedures, including harvesting donor hair, preparing grafts, and implantation
Direct and supervise hair transplant technicians during procedures, ensuring efficiency and adherence to clinical protocols
Utilize and learn advanced surgical tools and techniques to optimize outcomes
Clinical and Administrative Support
Document patient care in the EMR, ensuring accurate and complete records
Educate client about the procedure, post-operative care, and expectations, maintaining consistent and professional communication
Assist with maintaining clinic cleanliness, inventory management, and preparation of procedure rooms and equipment
Travel and Multi-Clinic Support
Travel to multiple clinic locations as required by the procedure schedule
Provide consistent, high-caliber services at any/all Athens clinics
Collaborate with any/all Athens medical teams during the hair transplant procedures
Other Duties
Perform additional tasks, duties, and responsibilities as needed or assigned by leadership to support departmental andorganizational objectives
Requirements:
Master?s Degree in physician assistant studies or a related field from an ARC-PA accredited program required
Minimum of three years of experience as a physician assistant required. Experience with FUE hair transplant procedures preferred.
Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) required
Current applicable unencumbered physician assistant licensure required
Unrestricted DEA license required
Current and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) required
Ability to travel intermittently based on schedule needs required
Ability to maintain highly confidential information required

We are seeking a full-time BC/BE Maternal Fetal Medicine specialist at the Assistant, Associate or Professor level to join our Obstetrics and Gynecology faculty. Ideally, we seek a candidate who is a leader in the field and will assume a leadership role, with the opportunity to fill an endowed chair role with a research interest in birth equity or other research interests.
The Obstetrics and Gynecology group at Creighton University Medical Center includes academic generalists and sub-specialists in maternal fetal medicine and urogynecology. The department works closely with advanced practice providers and colleagues in neonatology, anesthesiology, other medical specialties, nursing, and ancillary staff.
The division of Maternal Fetal Medicine at CUMC is a consult-based practice that provides comprehensive services for all aspects of high-risk pregnancies. Deliveries are performed by the generalist group with 24-hour coverage of labor and delivery. The division is seeking new faculty to add to the development of an integrated, multidisciplinary, value-based approach to high-risk obstetric care. The newly developed division at CUMC aims to create a strong focus on research and education. The division provides prenatal diagnostic procedures, including amniocentesis and CVS, for the area healthcare networks. With plans to accommodate a growing patient population, the ultrasound unit contains five E10 machines with Viewpoint software fully integrated into Epic EMR. The department is fully staffed with a seasoned group of certified sonographers. Two dedicated genetic counselors are onsite, an integrated fetal center, and a cohesive team of 2 MFM physicians recruiting a third and fourth. Future goals for the division include establishing an ACGME-approved fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine and growing a robust research sector. Applicants will also be actively involved in medical student and resident educational activities. Qualified applicants can take on divisional, departmental, and institutional leadership positions.
Our growing team of providers supports a large referral base of OB/GYN physicians. Creighton University Medical Center is a Perinatal Center within the Nebraska Perinatal Network with service for over 2,500 deliveries annually. Shares in the provision of patient care. The physician provides diagnostic and treatment services to clinic patients according to local, state and federal standards of care.
Accurately chart and document patients visits using the Electronic Medical Records in a timely manner
Participate in the quality improvement initiatives to improve clinical and operational processes
Evaluates the patient's total health needs, provides personal medical care within the sphere of his/her own competency, and refers patients when initiated, to appropriate sources of care while preserving the continuity of his care .
Provide clinical services in areas of preventive medicine, episodic self-limiting diseases, acute serious diseases, chronic long-term disease, counseling, EKG services, physical treatment, accident treatment, medication and others.
Counsel's patients about health and illness, discussing preventative health measures. Make referrals to other health care providers as necessary.
Night, evening, and weekend coverage must be shared under the direction of the Medical Director.
Attend internal meetings as necessary

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education: The Physician must be a graduate from an approved and accredited medical school; must be licensed in the State of Nebraska, should be board certified as a Family Practitioner, or an Internist having completed appropriate internship and residency.

Experience: Five years clinical and management experience preferred.
