This Physician will deliver the full range of services to patients in the Village Health Center (VHC), including diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic medical and psychiatric conditions (if also trained in Psychiatry), preventative care, minor surgical procedures, and occasional medical emergencies. Providers are responsible for seeing their scheduled patients as well as walk-ins, providing coverage during the operating hours of the VHC, providing telehealth services or phone-based consultation as needed, performing administrative tasks associated with the provision of care, and participating in quality improvement activities. The Primary Care and Psychiatry Physician is trained in Primary Care (FM or IM) and Psychiatry, or in Family Medicine. This Physician will deliver the full range of services to patients in the Village Health Center (VHC), including diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic medical and psychiatric conditions (if also trained in Psychiatry), preventative care, minor surgical procedures, and occasional medical emergencies. Providers are responsible for seeing their scheduled patients as well as walk-ins, providing coverage during the operating hours of the VHC, providing telehealth services or phone-based consultation as needed, performing administrative tasks associated with the provision of care, and participating in quality improvement activities. Providers are expected to manage all patients and conditions within the scope of their training and approved privileges. In addition to the brick-and-mortar clinic, Father Joe's also has a Street Health Program which deploys clinicians into the community to provide healthcare services.
