Responsibilities Clinical Leadership: Provide expert medical oversight and management for patients in the stroke and brain injury rehabilitation program. Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with a team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, neuropsychologists, and nursing staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Patient Management: Conduct comprehensive evaluations, monitor patient progress, and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal functional outcomes. Facilitates patient/family conferences to review treatment goals, optimize resource utilization, provide family education and identify needs. Utilization/Financial Management-managing resource utilization and reimbursement for services. Facilitates discharge to appropriate level of care and uses preferred providers when additional services are required.
