The Nampa hospital is a Level III Trauma Center holding Time Sensitive Emergency classifications for Stroke, Cardiology, and Trauma. Diagnostic and patient care services available to neurologists include EMG capability in the clinic and the hospital, EEG with web-based interpretation, TCD, and Botox injection.
The Saint Alphonsus Neuroscience Institute promotes collaboration with a team of neurosurgeons, neurologists and vascular neurologists, neuroradiologists, neuropathologists, neuro-otolaryngologists, physiatrists, a neuro-ophthalmologist and oncologists based out of the Boise campus. Boise is a ID State Comprehensive Stroke Center, and Nampa is a Primary Stroke designation as well.
Support Services: Well-established neurology outpatient clinic and inpatient neurology program located in Boise, tele-stroke services staffed by vascular neurologists, stroke coordinators, interventional neuroradiology and endovascular neurosurgeon service that includes biplane angiography, MRI/ MRA, CT/CTA, CT perfusion, 4-vessel angiography, and interventional stroke and aneurysm procedures. Nampa utilizes Boise SARMC for triage and escalated services.

Primary Care Physicians (PCPs) working in VA Medical Centers (VAMCs) or Community-Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs), will adhere to infection control, biohazard handling, and PPE protocols to ensure a safe environment. Qualifications:
Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Practice.
Active and unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state or territory.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Minimum two (2) years of experience as a practicing physician in a primary care setting preferred.
Familiarity with VA policies, procedures, and electronic health records (EHR/CPRS) is a plus.
Ability to pass a background check and credentialing process required by the VA.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including excellent telephone etiquette and precise documentation.
Proficiency in Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office (intermediate to advanced level), online calendars, and cloud-based systems.
