Position Highlights:
Interpretation of Imaging Studies
Analyze and interpret general imaging studies across multiple modalities (X-ray, MRI, CT, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, etc.).
Provide detailed diagnostic reports and communicate findings to referring physicians.
Patient Care:
Assist physicians and other healthcare providers in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases based on imaging results.

Required Qualifications:
Graduate of four-year U.S. Medical School or equivalent. Residency completed in Radiology.
Current BLS from the American Heart Association
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology.
Unrestricted Oregon license or ability to obtain prior to start date
Proficiency in general radiology modalities (X-ray, MRI, CT, ultrasound, etc.).
Strong analytical and diagnostic skills.
Excellent communication skills to convey findings effectively to medical staff.

The Primary Care Physician for Vancouver Community Mental Health and Substance Use Acute Home Based Treatment (AHBT) is accountable to the program medical director Vancouver Community Mental Health and Substance Use Services. AHBT is an exciting new city-wide program for clients with acute mental health needs who can safely be managed in their home or housing site with intensive outreach and active medical management. The AHBT Primary Care Physician will be part of an inter-disciplinary team including psychiatrists, nursing, and care coordinators.
The Primary Care Provider is responsible and accountable for the comprehensive assessment of patients including diagnosing diseases, disorders, and conditions including substance use disorders. Treatment planning should include health care management, therapeutic interventions and prescribing medications in accordance with statutory and regulatory standards, limits and conditions, and employer policies and procedures. The physician will provide professional guidance to other health professionals and participate autonomously as a member of the interdisciplinary health teams. An emphasis will be on the needs of clients and their families in the service continuum and ensuring a smooth transition from and to appropriate community health services. This entails engagement with referring clinicians and enabling efficient and safe transfers of care.

Responsibilities The Home Based Primary Care Physician serves as the key clinical primary point of accountability for patients involving Geriatric and Extended Care services and collaborates with other providers and specialists in and outside of the VA system to manage patients' health.

Clinical Duties include the following: Visiting the HBPC patients at home for medical evaluation and treatment.
