As part of the multi-disciplinary team, the Primary Care Physician (PCP) will provide primary medical diagnostic and therapeutic care and service, referring consultations for specialty care, and education and preventive care advice to all patients served. We are looking for attentive, conscientious, and experienced Primary Care Physicians. The facility uses EPIC EMR and needs a board-certified MD or DO in Neurocritical Care for expansion coverage. Shifts are 7a-7p or 7p-7a, 7 days a week, with no call required. The locum will handle 10-18 patients daily, perform 2-3 admissions, and cover rounding and consults in the Neuro ICU only. Procedures and code response within the Neuro ICU are required. Medical Critical Care and anesthesia are available, and APP support is inconsistent. Privileging takes 30-60 days; licensure must already be in place.
