Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, and IM PEDS SUMMARY The purpose of this position is to provide high quality patient care and ensure effective clinic operations. Patient care includes providing comprehensive medical services for members of family. Services include but are not limited to: preventive care, immunizations, primary care and treatment, health education, prescribing of medications, ordering and interpreting lab testing, physical examinations, STD screenings, vision/hearing, women's health, family planning, prenatal services, nutrition. Provider may be used in a variety of locations depending upon the need of the organization. Clinic shifts include 1 evening a week and 1-2 Saturdays/month. This position may also include supervising physician assistants and/or nurse practitioners and providing training to resident physicians or other health provider interns/externs. REQURED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and COMPETENCIES Provide continuous, comprehensive primary care for infants, children, youth, and adults according to current standards of care. Take patient histories.
