The successful candidate will be joining our inpatient team, located at St Francis Hospital in Roslyn. This position will be dedicated to serving the needs of in-patients with acute neurological disease.The chosen candidate must have excellent clinical skills and an interest in inpatient general neurology consultation. Job Description:
We are seeking dedicated, patient-focused physicians licensed in at least to join our team. Responsibilities:
Provide patients with a continuum of care
Assess the physical, psychological, spiritual and social needs of the patient
Direct patients to the next appropriate service and track their progress
Assure that all patients receive appropriate evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, medical screening and medical evaluation whenever indicated
Ensure that medical patient care is appropriately documented in the medical record
Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
Licensed to practice Medicine in the State of New York
Board Eligible / Certified in Neurology
Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills
