We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant/ Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality medical care to patients for pain management as well as perform procedures ( training will be provided). This position requires strong clinical skills, the ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and a commitment to patient-centered care. Position is for part-time or per diem. It can convert to full time as growth occurs.
Duties
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations.
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic pain management related issues.
Perform procedures such as trigger point injections, nerve blocks, knee joint injections, DME fitting and medication management.
Collaborate with physicians in the management of patient care in clinical settings.
Provide education to patients regarding health maintenance and disease prevention.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Assist in the development of treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Experience
A Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program is required. or Certifiend Nurse practitioner.
Previous experience in pain managment is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Qualifications: Candidates must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for state medical license. Candidates must have completed an accredited internal medicine residency program and gastroenterology fellowship and be board eligible/board certified in gastroenterology and hepatology. Our GI and Hepatology service line of professionals offer a complete range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, treats a medically diverse population, and has exposure to clinically challenging cases.
