The qualified candidate should have the ability to perform all high modality imaging procedures, within their field of expertise, demonstrating a sound understanding of anatomical positioning and pathology with the technical expertise to select and modify the exam protocols or sequences to produce the optimal scan results.

Primary duties for this position include but are not limited to:
Performing initial and ongoing patient assessments prior to and during each infusion to ensure patients are free of infection, adverse reactions, or other complications
Monitor and record patient vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse rate.
Collect and document accurate subjective and objective assessments in the electronic medical record, including medication lists, treatments, patient care instructions, and communications with outside entities (e.g., insurance, disability).
Communicate medical information appropriately with patients, families, coworkers, and outside institutions.
Verify chemotherapy orders and lab results for accuracy.
Administer and monitor chemotherapy and other medications for hematology/oncology patients.
Maintain knowledge of chemotherapy drugs, including side effects, infusion rates, potential reactions, and recognition of adverse responses.
Educating patients on IV therapy and the infusion process
Support cross-training needs by assisting triage nurses, clinic nurses, and rooming staff as needed.
