About the role
We are looking for an employee who is self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast paced environment.
Responsible for taking high quality digital x-rays, maintaining diagnostic imaging equipment and following physician orders
to ensure accuracy of image is captured to better assist physicians as they make their diagnosis. Performs laboratory tests
and documentation as needed.
Supervision Received: Reports to Manager of Diagnostics
Supervision Exercised: None.
Typical Physical Demands: Requires manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination for operation and repair of all
department equipment. Lifts and carries items weighing up to 50 pounds. Lifts patients weighing up to 300 pounds, and
places them in appropriate positions for operation of equipment. Requires eyesight correctable to 20/20 to operate
equipment and review digital images.
Typical Working Conditions: Frequent exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, and
other conditions common to a clinic environment
Responsibilities: (This list may not include all of the duties assigned.)
1. Prepares patient for radiological procedure by positioning patient; adjusting immobilization devices; moving equipment into
specified position; adjusting equipment controls to set exposure factors.
2. Minimizes radiation to patient and staff by practicing radiation protection techniques, using beam restrictive devices, patient
shielding, and knowledge of exposure factors.
3. Ensures operation of Radiology equipment by performing quality checks following manufacturer's recommendations and
trouble-shooting equipment as required, calling in repairs when necessary.
4. Recognizes changes in patient status and appropriately communicates to nurse and/or doctor.
5. Exhibits a working knowledge of principles, practice and procedures involved in the operation of radiographic equipment.
6. Anticipates and recognizes safety hazards, legal liabilities and intervenes through appropriate channels.
7. Provides and promotes quality care in accordance with office policies and procedures.
8. Establishes and maintains effective working relationship with co-workers, patients and other employees of the department
and office. Supports learning needs of new staff and radiography students.
9. Recognizes individual accountability for and participates in cost containment goals of the department and office.
10. Demonstrates continuous self-improvement through utilization of knowledge gained in clinical experience in X-ray.
11. Participates in in-service education, staff meetings and other continuing education programs to maintain optimal technical
knowledge. Participates in continuing education and in-services within and outside Physicians East, P.A. office for 24 hours
of continuing education every two years.
12. Exhibits ability to problem solve, prioritize and evaluate patient care activities.
13. Performs procedures requiring independent judgement with ingenuity and initiative.
14. Responsible for quality of radiographs processed through digital radiography.
15. Responsible for charging procedures performed.
16. Responsible for tracking radiology reports.
17. Works with Radiology Work list and PACS system.
18. Maintains yearly CPR certification.
LABORATORY DUTIES
1. Follow the laboratory's procedures for specimen handling and processing, test analyses, reporting and maintaining records
of patient test results for the following instruments/tests: Medonic M Series, HCG, Piccolo, Rapid Covid testing, Strep,
Influenza, Mono, ESR, Clinitek Status; Hemoccult slide developing.
2. Maintain records that demonstrate that proficiency testing samples are tested in the same manner as patient samples for
procedures described in #1 above.
3. Adhere to quality assurance policies, corrective action policies and preventive maintenance policies for procedures
described above.
4. Document all corrective actions taken when test systems deviate from the laboratory's established performance
specifications.
5. Immediately notify technical supervisor when identifying problems that may adversely affect test performance if problem
cannot be corrected.
6. Perform venipuncture as needed.
7. Perform clerical work as needed.
8. Prepare blood and urine specimens to be sent out to reference labs.
9. Maintain area and equipment in a clean orderly fashion.
10. Maintain all necessary records for appropriate time frame as outlined by COLA.
11. Attends safety classes and other continuing education classes as offered by PE.
12. Maintains yearly continuing education as offered by American Proficiency Institute in the sum of at least six programs per
year.
13. Maintains result comparisons of five random patients per year between analyzer LIS, and EMR.
14. Complies with OSHA and regulatory requirements by following established procedures in order to maintain a safe
laboratory environment and to meet Accreditation standards. Exercised Universal Precautions at all times.
15. Works efficiently as a team member within the department and with other units to provide quality service through
communication, cooperation, and collaboration.
16. Maintains flexibility required to adapt to diagnostic/laboratory needs as related to testing and scheduling.
Location & commitments
Permanent FT/PT/ role based at our (Urgent Care) location, Urgent Care -7:30a.m.-4p.m. (Monday-Saturday). Saturdays
are every other weekend. Overtime may be required to ensure patients are taken care, tasks are completed, and calls are
returned in a timely manner.
Candidate requirements: Must be a graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology with an associate
degree. Must be registered by ARRT and State of NC, or registry eligible. 2 years of clinical experience preferred.
Knowledge of PACS, Computed/Digital Radiography and other basic computer programs.

About the role
The Operations Manager is responsible for the overall administration and operations of the Hematology/Oncology practice, including its in-house chemotherapy infusion center. This role ensures efficient workflows, regulatory compliance, financial performance, and a patient-centered environment. The manager will oversee staff, coordinate with physicians, and maintain seamless integration between clinical and administrative functions. The manager is responsible for performing the tasks and duties below under the guidance and direction of the Director of Operations. Responsibilities:
Practice Operations
Oversee daily operations of the Hem/Onc clinic and infusion center.
Manage patient scheduling, treatment coordination, and physician support services.
Ensure efficient patient flow and minimize wait times.
Ensure seamless collaboration with laboratory, pharmacy, and ancillary services.
Develop and implement policies and procedures consistent with oncology best practices.
Coordinate physician meetings and maintain agenda & minutes. Communicate office/staff issues and physician needs/concerns to corporate leadership.
Act as a liaison with other departments, corporate leadership & the community to project the practice and providers positively.
Staff Management
Recruit, train, and evaluate team members to maintain high performance.

About the role
The Managed Care Representative I position is responsible for maintaining incoming and outgoing authorizations and referrals for multiple departments and specialties within Physicians East. Managed Care Representatives are responsible for reviewing Request for Authorization forms and ensuring that Orders are in the patient's charts as well as the diagnosis is present on the form, prior to contacting the Insurance Company. Managed Care Representatives review insurance and check to make sure it is active, contacts the insurance company to verify benefits and ask if Authorization is needed for a procedure, drug, or surgery. If Authorization is needed, the Managed Care Representative is responsible for recording this along with any needed reference information and submitting the form to the appropriate person/department. Managed Care Representatives are required to document forms completely and appropriately if denials are received.
Responsibilities:
GENERAL DUTIES
Maintain & process incoming and outgoing authorizations for assigned department(s) and help with STATS and authorizations for team members during times out of the office.
Communicate with Providers and Clinical team when orders are not in and/or additional information is needed to submit for authorization.

Notify patients of lab results.
Assist patients by answering phone calls and refilling medications at the direction of the physician.
Make referrals to other departments and clinics to coordinate patient care.
Disinfect exam rooms in-between patients.
Performs delegated procedures common to the specialty area in a safe, effective manner according to Policy and Procedures.
Starts, maintains and disconnects IV as per physician or mid-level provider order.
Able to act as station floater including communicating panic lab values to care team, assist with same day requests and desktop management for station providers and staff.

Keep management informed of high-risk situations.
Demonstrate appropriate use in cleaning of equipment.
Maintains licensure in accordance with North Carolina Board of Nursing.
Practice infection control, following OSHA guidelines and office policy.
Maintain CPR certification.
Attend fire safety classes, clinical meetings, compliance, and other continuing education classes as offered by Physicians East.

About the role

Ensure efficient patient flow and minimize wait times.
Ensure seamless collaboration with laboratory, pharmacy, and ancillary services.
Develop and implement policies and procedures consistent with oncology best practices.

Staff Management

About the role
The Patient Services Specialist serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. This role is responsible for greeting patients and visitors to the practice, scheduling appointments, managing patient records, verifying insurance, handling inquiries, and ensuring a positive, smooth, and efficient patient experience. Job functions for this position include reception, appointment coordinator, referral specialist, unit coordinator, procedure/surgical coordinator, etc.
Responsibilities
Greet patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Verify insurance eligibility and benefits; collect co-pays and balances.
Answer phone calls, respond to voicemails and emails promptly.
Register new patients and update existing patient information.
Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
Assist patients with forms and documentation.
Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure timely patient flow.
Resolve patient concerns or escalate issues as needed.
Perform general office duties such as filing, faxing, scanning, and mail distribution.
Maintain a clean and organized front desk and waiting area.
Other duties as assigned by supervision.
Candidate requirements
High School diploma or equivalent required; some post-secondary education strongly preferred.
1-2 years of experience in a healthcare, customer service, or front office role (preferred).
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems (e.g., Epic, Nextgen).
Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
Must have the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Must have strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Bilingual is a plus.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills required.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team required.
Strong organizational and time-management skills required.
Location & commitments:
Front Office/Patient Services at one of our practice locations.
Roles available: Full-time/Part-Time, Night and Weekend
Occasional overtime may be required to ensure tasks and/or projects are completed in a timely manner.
Supervision Received:
Reports to the Operations Manager/Director of Operations.
Supervision Exercised:
None.
Typical Physical Demands:
Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
Manual dexterity for typing and computer work.
Occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
Typical Working Conditions:
Work is primarily in a medical office, or clinic setting.
Frequent interaction with patients, families, and healthcare staff.

Key Responsibilities
* Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.

Qualifications
* Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology.
* Completion of an MRI Technology Certificate Program.
* Registered or registry-eligible in Magnetic Resonance Imaging through ARRT.
* Minimum of 2 years clinical experience preferred.
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform full range of body motion.
* Vision correctable to 20/20 for image analysis and equipment operation.

About the role
We are looking for an employee with experience working in a Clinical Laboratory. Knowledge of clinical laboratory processes and procedures required. This candidate will be expected to perform quality control testing, calibrations, and maintenance of laboratory analyzers. This candidate will be responsible for testing patient samples, reporting results and keeping appropriate documentation. Candidates with a knowledge of quality assurance measures are preferred. Candidates who possess strong detail oriented and interpersonal skills will excel in this position.

Typical Physical Demands: Requires full range of body motion including manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Maintain records that demonstrate that proficiency testing samples are tested in the same manner as patient samples for procedures described in #2 above.
Adhere to quality assurance policies, corrective action policies and preventive maintenance policies for procedures described above.
Document all corrective actions taken when test systems deviate from the laboratory's established performance specifications.
Immediately notify technical supervisor when identifying problems that may adversely affect test performance if problem cannot be corrected.
Perform equipment maintenance, calibration, and quality control. Maintain log sheets for equipment maintenance.
Print and review Levey- Jennings graphs and quality control results from the LIS or analyzer
Perform paperwork necessary for departmental requirements.
Prepare blood and urine specimens to be sent out to reference labs.
Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly fashion.
Attend safety classes and other continuing education classes as offered by Physicians East.
Perform continuing education yearly as required by Physicians East.
Maintain proficiency in using the LIS and EMR as required by Physicians East.
This outlines the basic day to day requirements for a MLT at Physicians East Laboratory.
Additional duties not outlined here may be required as needed.

Location & commitments
FT/PT/Temp/PRN role based at our Greenville (other) location, Monday-Friday with hours ranging between the hours of 7:00 am until work is completed after closing at 5:30 pm.
Overtime may be required to ensure patients are taken care, tasks are completed, and calls are returned in a timely manner.
Weekend work is rare but can occasionally be necessary.
Candidate requirements
Associate Degree as a Medical Laboratory Technician required. ASCP or NCA certification with at least two years' experience in all laboratory departments preferred.
Must work under direct supervision of the general supervisor when performing highly complex testing, if MLT does not have at least two years' experience performing highly complex testing. Highly complex tests include:
Reading microbiology cultures
Iron Binding Capacity testing
Body fluid analysis
Semen analysis
Manual differential
