Overview
The IT Security Manager is responsible for the research, development, implementation, testing and review of the organization's information security to protect information and prevent unauthorized access. Overview
Responsible for the dispatching of Public Safety and other Aviation Department employees for routine and emergency calls for service at the Corpus Christi International Airport. Additional duties include monitoring the automated access control, fire alarm, closed circuit television systems and routing requests from passengers and other individuals who do business with the Airport to the appropriate section within the department.
Responsibilities
* Directs the appropriate units(s) to answer all emergency calls that originate at the Airport or are transferred from the 911 system.
* Monitors the 800 MHz radio and aircraft emergency ring-down systems, records all the information generated by a call for service in a computer database for official documentation and relays information to mutual aid agencies such as the Corpus Christi Police and Fire Departments.
* Serves as the switchboard operator for all phone calls received by the Airport when required. Required to maintain State of Texas Certification as a Telecommunicator.
* Safeguards private and personal information generated by law enforcement and Homeland Security Transportation Security Administration activities.
* Actively monitors the Access Control System (ACS) in order to maintain restricted access into the secured areas of the Airport as required in the Airport Security Program (ASP).
* Dispatches the appropriate Public Safety Unit(s) to troubleshoot any door alarms that are caused by improper use of the system including incidents where doors or gates are opened without a proper card or use of an outdated card, and suspected unlawful activity.
* Monitors all doors and access points to the airfield and restricted areas.
* Deletes and/or suspends access in the ACS as a result of potential security breaches and when directed by the Airport Security Coordinator.
* Actively monitor multiple screens including a video wall covering more than 50 cameras that are deployed throughout the interior and exterior of the Terminal, other buildings and perimeter of the Airport property.
* Provides responding officers with accurate information that is essential for the lives and safety of victims and responding officers through the use of the Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) System.
* Utilizes the CCTV System to aid in the investigation of security breaches and unlawful activity.
* Assists the badging and credential section as needed; may issue airport tenant and contractor employee's security badges, process paperwork and print badges.
* Required to handle security sensitive information as mandated in TSA regulation 49 CFR 1529 and 1542.
* May issue parking citations for violations

Overview
The Gulf Beach Lifeguard participates in beach rescue operations on the Gulf and McGee beaches and responds to any medical emergency through dispatch calls from drowning to trauma with injuries. The objective of this position is to keep beach goers safe through preventive response actions while on the beach and swimming in the gulf waters.
Responsibilities and Duties
* Respond to emergency calls to include swimmers in distress, drowning, recovery, major medical calls, major trauma and minor injuries.
* Requires constant surveying of the water and providing public safety.
* Ensure that all beach rescue equipment and fleet remain in top working condition and are clean.
* Must remain current on all certification and training requirements.
* Must be physically ready to respond to emergencies at all times.
* Assist with special events by providing water safety, first aid, traffic control and supplies.
* Will be required to operate jet skis and trucks with emergency response lights and sirens.
