Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Operate and monitor plant equipment, systems, breakers, and auxiliaries from the control room to ensure safe and efficient operations. * Execute plant start-ups, shutdowns, and load changes in accordance with approved procedures and dispatch instructions. * Coordinate with the Load Dispatcher to maintain required output and operating parameters. * Monitor, trend, and adjust plant operating data to maintain reliability, efficiency, and compliance. * Identify abnormal operating conditions, diagnose issues, and take corrective action to restore safe plant operation. * Direct and support field operators during equipment isolations, LOTO activities, and maintenance coordination. Job Requirements: * Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems within a power generation facility. * Proven ability to make sound decisions under pressure, including during emergency and abnormal operating conditions. * Ability to read and interpret plant procedures, drawings, and technical documentation. * Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across disciplines. Coordinate the scrapping of parts with product leaders, product support engineers, and quality engineers. Insert scrap paperwork after verification of P/N, S/N, and then coordinate the physical scrapping of the components.15. Display a positive attitude and degree of professionalism as work is accomplished across the entirety of the facility. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS1. One year's experience in a manufacturing environment or similar.2. Experience in the use of skids, pallet jacks and forklifts/lift trucks.3.     JOB SUMMARYThe Machinist Intern / Pre-Apprenticeship program is specifically designed for the high school student, who is currently enrolled in a machining technical program, in expanding their knowledge and applying learned skills in a machine department environment. The successful candidate will complete a structured on-the-job training program and participate in online training courses to kick start a career in machining. The successful candidate will work part-time, while attending their high school technical program in this paid program. As a machining intern, you will work alongside experienced machinists in gaining the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in your machinist career. You will become familiar with various types of machining principles and equipment, learn about safety, quality standards, and develop your machining technique, all under the supervision of a professional team. As your skills increase, so will your responsibilities, giving you hands-on experience, growth, and additional responsibilities.     JOB SUMMARYThe Machine Department Production Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day activities of the department which may include manual, CNC and grinding processes. This position will lead their team to meet and exceed our customer goals. The Production Supervisor will ensure that the scheduled work is executed safely and in a systematic manner so that qualified technicians can perform the assigned tasks by ensuring that machines and equipment are maintained, optimized and operated efficiently. This position will monitor the completion of work while ensuring the quality standards are being met. The Production Supervisor will apply their knowledge and skills in various manufacturing type disciplines in the repair and modification of turbine engine components. This position will collaborate with other production supervisors by utilizing an established and effective channel of communications. Follow established safety protocols and guidelines to ensure full compliance with company safety policies and procedures.2. Manage personnel work hours, scheduled time off, shift schedules, and overtime to meet the customer requirements.11. Assume ownership of continuous improvement projects as assigned.12. Responsible for reviewing reports and tracking mechanisms of performance indicators (KPI's) and integrate information into successful improvement plans.13. Perform functions, such as performance reviews, employee development, accountability of team members, conflict resolution, and disciplinary action, in partnership with the department manager. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS1. A minimum of two years' experience in a supervisory role in a manufacturing environment or similar. 2. Three years' experience (or similar) as a machinist with knowledge or familiarity in one, all, or a combination of:a. Machining to include set-up and operation of:1. Manual lathe, milling or ID/OD grinding.2. CNC lathe, milling or ID/OD grinding.b. Two plus year's (or similar) experience:1. GD&T2. Reading and the interpretation of shop drawings and technical diagrams.3. Experience in and a demonstrated solid foundation in the knowledge of computers and standard software programs. OTHER QUALIFICATIONS1. High School graduate, with advanced educational accreditation preferred, but not required.2. Read, write, speak, and understand the English language.3.
