The VAS Picker/Packer located in Rensselaer, IN, is responsible for accurately selecting parts associated with internal and external customer orders to ensure customers receive the correct parts and quantities in both a timely and cost-efficient manner. This role requires attention to detail, safe operation of powered equipment, and teamwork in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Hours of Work: * 1st Shift: 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM (overtime: 3:30 AM - 2:00 PM) * 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM - 11:30 PM (overtime: 2:30 PM - 1:00 AM) Role Responsibilities: * Receive and review customer orders to identify items and location codes. * Pick and count the correct quantity of items from the correct location. * Enter information into computer systems to maintain accurate inventory counts. * Move inventory using powered industrial equipment (PIE). * Maintain cleanliness of aisles and storage locations. * Pack products correctly, noting area-specific requirements (International, VAS, Purolator). * Locate pallets and product in designated areas for loading. * Follow all safety rules, including use of harness equipment, hazardous waste handling, lock-out/tag-out, hearing, and eye protection. * Comply with DOT, HAZMAT, and environmental policies and procedures. * Use all designated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). * Perform additional duties as assigned to support Donaldson's mission, vision, and strategic objectives. Minimum Qualifications: * High School Diploma or equivalent. * Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. * Ability to work independently with limited supervision. * Basic computer skills. * Ability to stand for 8-12 hours per day. * Ability to repetitively lift up to 50 lbs. * Ability to operate powered industrial equipment. * Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. * Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with coworkers. * Ability to work in a team-oriented environment toward shared goals. * Flexibility to adapt to change and perform additional duties as assigned. * Strong attendance record with regular and predictable reliability. Preferred Qualifications: * Previous warehouse or picking/packing experience. * Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and RF scanning. * Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order selection. * Demonstrated commitment to safety practices.
