The Forklift Operator is responsible for picking and loading freight securely and correctly. In this role you will ensure that work is done in a safe and timely manner.
Responsibilities of the position include:
Drive a cherry picker, reach and sit-down forklift equipment with lifting devices to push, pull, stack or move products.
Check assigned forklift at beginning of shift to ensure unit is functional.
Obtain proper documents from supervisor or lead person indicating priority of work assignments.
Review reports/orders/customer instructions to ensure proper handling of product.
Monitor assigned areas of the warehouse for damaged product/pallets.
Ensure production standards are maintained.
Must be able to work in a team environment.

Requirements of the position include:
HS Diploma or GED is desirable.
Minimum 1 year of experience driving a reach/sit down, and walkie rider.

ABOUT THIS ROLE
Load, unload, and move materials within or near plant, yard, or work site by performing the following duties.
LOCATION AND SCHEDULE
Hazlehurst, Ms - On Site
Monday-Friday 7:15am-3:40pm
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Load materials into vehicles and install strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
Read work orders or follow oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved.
Open containers.
Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand.
Load materials into vehicles and install strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
Convey materials from storage or work sites to designated area using hand truck or pallet jack.
Count, weigh, and record number of units of materials moved or handled.
Attach identifying tags or labels to materials or mark information on cases, bales, or other containers.
Load truck for Industrial Truck Operator.
Stack or assemble materials into bundles and band bundles together.
Clamp sections of portable conveyor together or place conveyor sections on blocks or boxes to facilitate movement of materials or products.
Lift heavy objects by hand or with power hoist, and clean work area, machines, and equipment to assist machine operators.
Shovel loose materials such as sand, gravel, metals, plastics, or chemicals, into machine hoppers or into vehicles and containers such as wheelbarrows, scrap truck, or barrels.
Operate industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products. (Requires a company forklift license.)
Maintains a regular and reliable level of attendance.
Interacts with co-workers in a cooperative and professional manner.
Adheres to company policies and procedures.
Other duties may be assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Three to six months related experience and/or training, preferred.
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience; good reading and writing skills. Prior manufacturing experience preferred.

The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for computer data entry which is required for receipts, shipments, and inventory maintenance. The Inventory Clerk is responsible for assisting the supervisor/manager in ensuring the facility is in compliance with quality standards.
As part of the DSV team, Associates are expected to meet company objectives in the areas of performance, safety, and quality. Associates are expected to comply with all corporate and site-specific policies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain accurate warehouse inventory
Direct customer interface to answer questions and resolve issues
Return material coming from customer to factory
Function autonomously, reporting progress and issues to supervisor/management
Follow company policies, guidelines, and procedures
Maintain appropriate records and reports to ensure inventory control and security. Conduct physical inventory as required. Assist in conduct daily / monthly “in-house” cycle count when required, support shipping / receiving in locating missing items throughout facility.
Perform safety audits per operation requirements. Report and correct any unsafe operations
Participate in daily start-up and staff meetings as required. Assist supervision as needed.
Use PC skills for e-mail and generating reports as required.
Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformities relating to product, process, and quality system; to identify and record any problems relating to the product, process, and quality system; to initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through designated channels; to verify the implementation of solutions.
Review/investigate issues with inbound and/or outbound functions including unloading, checking, orderly stacking, storing, order pulling, staging, labeling, and loading. Ship material to the factory upon client requests inventory. Notify management when procedures require updates.
Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area. Perform housekeeping audits per operation requirements.
OTHER DUTIES (Site Specific)
Assist leadership as needed.
Able to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends, as required by the operation. Participate in established cross training matrix activities with the opportunity to improve their knowledge in multiple departments and be able to assist as a backup associate when the need may rise.
Work overtime as dictated by business whether mandatory or voluntary
Performs other duties as assigned.

We are seeking qualified candidates for Forklift Operator for our Receiving Department at our Byhalia, Mississippi Distribution Center.
2nd Shift- Monday to Thursday: 4 p.m. to 2:30 a.m.
The Forklift Operator is responsible for picking and loading freight securely and correctly. In this role you will ensure that work is done in a safe and timely manner.
Responsibilities of the position include:
Drive a cherry picker, reach and sit-down forklift equipment with lifting devices to push, pull, stack or move products.
Check assigned forklift at beginning of shift to ensure unit is functional.
Obtain proper documents from supervisor or lead person indicating priority of work assignments.
Review reports/orders/customer instructions to ensure proper handling of product.
Monitor assigned areas of the warehouse for damaged product/pallets.
Ensure production standards are maintained.
Must be able to work in a team environment.
Other duties as assigned by the Management Team
Requirements of the position include:
HS Diploma or GED is desirable.
Minimum 1 year of experience driving a reach/sit down, and walkie rider.
Warehouse Management System experience desired; HighJump experience highly desired
Must be able to bend, squat, kneel, reach overhead, and stand/walk for up to 4 hours at a time and push/pull lift up to 45 pounds.
