Currently hiring for our B shift (Mon-Thurs 7pm-530am) and D Shift (Fri-Sun 7pm-7:30am)** **Role Description:** We are seeking a self-motivated, efficient, and meticulous material handler to join our growing team. As a material handler, you will perform warehousing functions such as receiving, processing, and labeling incoming stock/materials, picking and retrieving stock, packing & shipping orders, as well as organizing the warehouse while following all guidelines and regulations. In addition, you will perform a variety of supply chain functions, using CostPoint, SAP, ERP, Microsoft Office, and other products to track inventory, fulfil production orders. Loads, unloads, and conveys materials within or near plant, yard, or work site, and performs a combination of tasks under specific direction. Opens containers using hand tools; counts and weighs materials and records information. Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, conveyors, and machines by hand; loads or unloads materials into or from trucks by hand. Conveys materials using carts, hand trucks, forklifts, electric dolly, or other devices; stacks or assembles materials; aids machine operators by lifting heavy objects by hand or by use of power hoist. **Basic Qualifications Level 2:** * High School Diploma or GED (education will be verified) AND 2 years of additional experience in manufacturing, warehouse, and logistics. * Valid Driver License required. * Ability to lift 50 lbs. * Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Security Clearance and Special Program Access within a reasonable period of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Active DoD Secret Clearance * ERP System (inventory control system) experience * Logistics experience **Salary Range:** $33,500 - $55,800 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Will perform on-line/off-line inspections and sort goods. Will be required to maintain productivity and standard line speed while packing or palletizing finished goods.
