* Accurately issues and or delivers parts and materials to various departments. Ensures timely location and acquisition of parts/materials for Maintenance using the computer tracking system and other resources.
* Ensures proper handling of aircraft parts during transactions, shipping, and receiving to avoid damage, flight cancellations or delays.
* Performs accurate and timely computer system transactions including parts/materials issue and returns, warehouse transfers and bin transfers.
* Receives and inspects parts and materials. Logs information in computer.
* Ensures parts/materials are properly stored, identified and comply with Shelf Life programs.
* Expedites past-due repair and purchase orders for critical spare requirements.
* Maintains awareness of Suspected Unapproved Parts (SUP) to prevent entry of SUP into Company inventories.
* Performs shipping functions of both hazardous/non-hazardous material using a variety of options, including creating and delivering counter to counter shipments for air transport.
* Reviews the computer system daily for open requisitions to determine if requested parts/materials are still needed and to cancel/delete outdated requisitions. Conducts inventory cycle counts. Accurately reports discrepancies.
* Works with different departments to ensure maintenance tasks are completed to support the organization.
* Conducts monthly self-audits including shelf life, hazardous shipping files and various FAA audits.
* Maintains tooling needed to perform maintenance tasks.
* Maintains a secure, clean and orderly stockroom per Company policies and procedures and FAA requirements.
* Ensures compliance with hazardous materials/dangerous goods regulations. Follows and complies with all Environmental Protection Agency polices that impact the airline.
* Performs other duties as assigned or required.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE.
* High school diploma or equivalent. Must be at least 18 years old.
* Possess and maintain a valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
* Able to operate forklifts and other machinery.
* Must be able to pass and remain current on HAZMAT Dangerous Goods Handling course.
* Possess basic computer skills in Microsoft Office and Word.
* Must be willing to travel for training and company needs.
* Must be a self-starter who can provide excellent customer service.
PREFERRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Previous experience in warehouse, parts, supply chain, etc. is helpful.

SUMMARY:

Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Monitor and insure quality print including tape tests throughout production runs. Compare and approve print quality is within specified limits of the tri-fold color range. Calculate the number of parts needed to complete the order. Number labels on each order in sequence, beginning where the prior shift ended. If the order uses a lot number, lot numbers change at 7am and numbering begins with one and continues in sequential order until the order is completed. Place completed boxes on skids and individual parts in totes or on tray packs. Place product of poor quality in a scrap box or tote. Place SCRAP labels on all scrap containers. Products made of like materials are placed in the same box. Complete the corresponding paperwork for each order.

Responsibilities
Check previous production schedule, travelers, memo, and return schedule to determine what color to run
Keep hoppers, accurate, and canisters covered and filled with the correct color / material.
Keep material cleaned from purge trays.
Disseminate a copy of your schedule to Labeling, Blending, Quality Assurance, Lead person, Assistant Group Leader, and Operators in your section.
Pull the color chip in Quality Assurance for the colors to be run during your shift.
Make purging compound and get drain barrels.
Keep machines, accurate, and second floor work area clean and orderly.
Drain excess material from hoppers at mold changes and take the drained material to the second floor Materials Department.
Perform purging operations at end of run or color change
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and push or pull an excess of 100 lbs
Maintain and enforce all company safety, environmental and department of health requirements
Process changes must be documented on quality check sheet
Additional IML training required to load labels properly on the In-Line Labeling machines
New Material Handlers will be trained to check material at the beginning of each new order and at the beginning of their shifts on the machines in their section.
Material Handler will confirm by the BOM on the Traveler that material is hooked up to the correct line on the Conair unit and confirm that line is drawing material from correct silo or bin that stores material. The information concerning the exact material that is stored in the bins and silos is display on a monitor screen and is updated by the Materials Department concerning what material is in the specific bins or silos.
After the Material Handler has confirmed the order they are running is properly hooked up to correct bin, the Material Handler will relay this information to the Lead Process Tech in that section. This job function will be completed every day and every shift when machines run, including weekends.
Anytime information is found to not be consistent with BOM from Traveler or that the conair material line is not hooked up correctly the Material Handler is to immediately contact his QA Department & Group Leader and then shut down the machine until a decision can be made about inaccuracies of information. If machine is running on barrels that are made by the Blending Department the information on the barrel must also match information for material as noted by the BOM on the Traveler.
Must obtain and maintain Lock-out Tag-out Certification

Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Monitor and insure quality print including tape tests throughout production runs.
Compare and approve print quality is within specified limits of the tri-fold color range.
Calculate the number of parts needed to complete the order.
Number labels on each order in sequence, beginning where the prior shift ended. If the order uses a lot number, lot numbers change at 7am and numbering begins with one and continues in sequential order until the order is completed.
Place completed boxes on skids and individual parts in totes or on tray packs.
Place product of poor quality in a scrap box or tote. Place SCRAP labels on all scrap containers. Products made of like materials are placed in the same box.
Complete the corresponding paperwork for each order.
Qualifications
High school diploma / GED equivalent is preferred.
Must have the ability to calculate part requirements.
Strong organizational skills with proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to stand and walk for a minimum of 7 hours during an 8 hour shift
Minimal lifting capabilities of 30 lbs. at a minimal frequency of 20 times per hour
