GENERAL PURPOSE
Perform various warehouse and inventory related tasks. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Load and unload stacks and move items as assigned; sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence, such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
Sort and store perishable goods in refrigerated area
Maintain organization, rotation of stock, and neatness of all coolers and warehouse.
Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other items and distribute to production workers.
Accurately pull and prepare customer orders for shipping and for efficient loading onto trucks/trailers.
Check all information for accurate shipment of customer orders; check bills of lading for accuracy before any product is shipped or received; check products for cleanliness and condition prior to loading.
Use computer to accurately scan or enter/maintain inventories and records.
Complete daily pick sheets, cycle counts, and production take backs
Assist with monthly inventory counts, year-end inventory counts, and cycle counts as required.
Monitor materials, product, and equipment at each step of the process and report irregularities or concerns to supervisor.
May sort, bundle and fill containers or place in assembled units
May mark or put identifying labels on product loads.
May operate a forklift, including a standing forklift, to load and unload trucks and move inventory from one location to another.
Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
Follow all DFA GMP's and work in a manner consistent with all corporate and regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements. Inform QA personnel of any quality issues.

Overview

Responsibilities
Responsible for assisting with product purchasing/ordering, receiving and distribution control for the venue.
Maintain sanitation and organizational systems of all warehouse storage areas.
Fulfills all event expectations including but not limited to requisitioning during events, post-event break down, warehouse returns, equipment storage, sanitation and maintenance.
Oversee and ensure that appropriate stocking levels are met for each event; rotate and maintain integrity of product.

Description
Under general supervision of the Warehouse Supervisor, this part-time position is responsible for performing a variety of warehouse-related duties such as receiving and storage of goods and preparing orders for shipment. Pick items from shelves and placing them in totes, and ensuring that orders are filled accurately and efficiently, continually striving for improved customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties
• This position is a part-time position. Working hours are Monday - Friday, 25 hours per week.
• Pick, pack, wrap and load product for delivery to customers
• Insure accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments
• Safe operation of all material handling equipment, including pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.
• Receive merchandise and stock shelves
• Assists with inventory procedures as requested
• Participates in physical inventory counts, as assigned, to verify the accuracy of parts on hand
• Complies with all appropriate policies, procedures, safety rules, and regulations
• Utilize computerized WMS (warehouse management system) and RF scanners
• Must be flexible to work overtime as needed
• Performs related duties as assigned
• Making of hydraulic hoses to include cutting, fitting, crimping, and operation of hose assembly tooling
Qualifications

• High school diploma or (GED) equivalent
• Proficient in the use of a computer and related software
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong problem solving skills and be detailed oriented with a high level of accuracy
• Basic math skills
• Able to lift 75 pounds; 45 pounds on an unassisted basis, repetitively
• Able to work at heights up to 25 feet
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
• Energy and stamina to work extended daily hours as needed
• Able to work in a dynamic, fast paced distribution center environment
• Ability to perform duties with a sense of urgency, exceeding customer expectations
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Excellent organizational skills
Preferred Skills and Competencies
• The ideal candidate has experience with WMS (Warehouse Management System) system software
• Forklift Certification preferred

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS

Ability to use RF scanner or WMS workstation.

Able to push/pull up to 75 lbs.
Able to stand/walk on concrete surface for 8+ hours per day, with regular bending, reaching, and crouching.
Able to climb ladders up to 12 feet (where applicable).
