The Opportunity
The IT Support Specialist works as part of the geographically dispersed IT team to collaboratively manage support escalation requests from the Help Desk. The IT Support Specialist works as part of a team to deploy, maintain, and support end-user devices and systems, including desktop hardware, antivirus, patching, software deployment systems, video conferencing, and printers in our growing company.
What You'll Do

Installs, maintains, and supports end-user technology, including computers, printers, phones, and software.
Work as part of the IT team handling Help Desk escalations to provide problem analysis and problem resolution.
Manages workload efficiently and prioritizes tasks.
May have ownership of IT support tools and/or processes.
Identify potential system improvements for presentation to IT management for consideration, to improve Ulteig's technology.
Recommends standards for end-user device hygiene and efficiency.
Identify user issue trends and escalate as needed.
Completes projects and tasks within scope guidelines.
Creates technical documentation, including procedures, standards, best practices, break/fix solutions, and manuals.
Works collaboratively with individuals at all levels in the organization in a team environment.
Provides local IT hands support to remote team members.
May collaborate with external vendors.

What We Expect from You
An associate's degree in IT is required, with a bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience with Help Desk or an IT support-related field.
Extensive experience with PC hardware, software applications, operating systems, and network connectivity is required.
Experience related to client/server security.
Experience with imaging software is a plus.
Previous experience in an engineering environment is a plus.
Knowledge of IT systems, including but not limited to Microsoft Windows Server, Windows 10/11, Office365, and computer hardware.
Must possess a well-rounded knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures.
Ability to effectively troubleshoot by applying logical analysis and problem-solving techniques.
Demonstrates excellent verbal/written communications, time management, customer service, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Demonstrates the ability to be organized, effectively prioritize, and work on multiple projects and meet deadlines by setting priorities.

This is a hybrid role that requires working in the office three days per week.

The Opportunity
Ulteig is seeking a Meter Inspector who can interpret design drawings, implement meter programs, verify site wiring, perform testing, troubleshoot, and certify 3-phase revenue meters. This role combines technical expertise with hands-on fieldwork to ensure accurate metering and compliance.
What You'll Do
Create and modify single-line and three-line diagrams, schematics, and wiring diagrams related to metering.
Install, test, troubleshoot, and certify revenue and check meters, as well as electronic data recorders.
Program and interrogate meters, accounting for complex system losses and verifying configurations using vendor software.
Investigate and resolve metering issues, providing solutions and guidance to customers.
Conduct Factory Acceptance Testing for CAISO meters and verify communication parameters and revenue data output.
Train and mentor engineers or technicians on installation and maintenance of metering applications.
Inspect meter panels for compliance with client regulations, codes, and AHJ requirements.
Maintain schedules and progress reports, often working independently in the field while coordinating with clients.

What We Expect from You
Education & Licensure
Two-year technical degree with an engineering background.
Experience

Job Description
KPFF is looking for full-time structural engineering professionals for our Greater Los Angeles Structural office. We are seeking a highly motivated person with a passion for engineering excellence and eager to develop design and project management skills. The Opportunity
Ulteig is seeking a seasonal Summer Environmental Intern to support environmental compliance and due diligence efforts for public and private clients across our Lifeline Sectors, including Transportation, Renewables, Power, and Water, as well as other industries we serve.
This internship provides hands-on exposure to environmental analysis, regulatory compliance, and field investigations. Our goal is to help clients balance responsible development with the protection of natural and cultural resources. The Environmental Intern will support new and ongoing projects while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
