The position covers up to 4 clinics: Westerville Medical Campus, Bing and Dublin Cancer Center, Grant on specific scheduled days. We are looking for a candidate that has experience in the medical field. This position is approximately 60% administrative work and 40% clinical work. Provides administrative and basic level clinical support to physician practices to ensure the delivery of quality healthcare services. This role does not function as a formal Medical Assistant but may be required to perform basic, non-invasive rooming and VS skills if needed. The Medical Technologist (ASCP) performs accurate, precise, and timely patient test results for the diagnosis and management of human illness. Utilizes automation, computerization, and manual methods. Responsible for quality control and instrument operation, maintenance and troubleshooting. Position handles blood, tissue, fecal matter, sputum, urine, spinal fluid and other bodily fluids. Specimens may be contaminated with infectious diseases including HIV and other blood borne pathogens. Responsibilities And Duties: - 55% Critical thinking, academic theory, facilitation/leadership abilities, and advanced customer service skills.
