During 1970, construction began on the new 62,000 square foot facility located off of Highway 41 in Appleton, Wisconsin.
In 1975, Pierce received its first export order for the Middle East from Saudi Arabia for an order of 700 large rescue trucks, trailers, and Snorkels.
Doug Ogilvie retired in 1989 after 41 dedicated years with the company.
