Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred Experience: 1-year banquet server experience with our company preferred or past full-service banquet bartender / bartender experience required as substitute Specific job knowledge, skills and abilities: Ability to read, speak and write basic English in order to communicate with customers and other employees Ability to exercise good judgment Possess multi-tasking skills Knowledge of food and beverage menus, food preparation and presentation Ability to follow detailed instructions with minimal supervision at times Ability to communicate customer needs and resolve complaints independently Possess good inter-personal and sales related experience Possess basic computer skills to be able to use POS system or cash register system Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, sit, walk, climb, bend, crouch/stoop, twist and reach for extended periods of time. Especially standing for long periods of time Have moderate to high level of energy and physical stamina Exert well-paced ability to maneuver between functions occurring simultaneously Most work tasks are performed indoors. Temperature is moderate and controlled by restaurant / hotel environmental systems Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. intermittently during workday Appearance Guidelines: Hotel Department uniform is required.
