The Class C Lineman Underground is an entry level lineman position in the construction, maintenance and repair of electrical underground distribution systems. This position works at various locations. The position may also be required to travel to another state depending on customer demands. If there is a damaged item, the Driver/Installer must take a picture of the item and send it to the Manager prior to loading it onto the truck. Ensure customer messages and communications are relayed to appropriate management. Assist in always maintaining a neat and clean workplace. Assist with stocking the shipping and receiving department to include lifting and carrying cartons and placing them on appropriate shelves. Receive a floorplan and instruct and execute the delivery with other helpers. The Driver/Installer must wear the uniform provided by AFR at all times during work hours. Perform other related duties as assigned and required by management.
