March 2016: PMC receives National Outstanding Achievement Award with Commendation Gold Status: Award recognizes cancer programs that achieve excellence in providing highest quality care to cancer patients.
November 2016: Pikeville Medical Center (PMC) announces it has earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® for certifications in total hip replacement, total knee replacement and hip fracture.
August 2017: Pikeville Medical Center (PMC) announces it has earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® that indicates three year accreditation for the hospital, Leonard Lawson Cancer Center (LLCC) and the LLCC’s lab.
October 2017: Pikeville Medical Primary Stroke Center has received the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association’s Get With The Guidelines®-Stroke Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award with Target: Stroke Honor Roll Elite.
June 2018: Pikeville Medical Primary Stroke Center has once again received the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association’s Get With The Guidelines®-Stroke Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award with Target: Stroke Honor Roll Elite.
August 2018: PMC receives the Platinum Award from the Kentucky Organ Donor Association
June 2019: Pikeville Medical Primary Stroke Center has received the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association’s Get With The Guidelines® Stroke Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award with Target: Stroke Honor Roll.
