Responsibilities:
Lead private and group Pilates (Mat & Reformer) and Yoga sessions.
Mentor, coach, and evaluate instructors to maintain program quality and consistency.
Collaborate on program development, scheduling, and special events.
Drive client acquisition and retention through exceptional instruction and engagement.
Serve as a founding ambassador of the Solterra Wellness Club brand, influencing studio culture and operations.
Qualifications:
Classical Pilates certification (Balanced Body, Merrithew/Stott, Romana's, or equivalent).
Studio will be using 12 tall Balanced Body Allegro 2 reformers with towers
Mat + Reformer required; additional apparatus a bonus.
Yoga certification preferred (not required)
2+ years of professional teaching experience in Pilates preferred.
Strong communication and leadership presence.
Experience (or interest) in mentoring instructors.
Bonus: background in meditation, functional wellness, or mindfulness coaching.
Compensation:
Per-Class Pay: $35-$45 per scheduled class (based on experience and certifications) with Attendance Bonuses
Coaching/Mentoring Pay: Additional compensation for instructor mentoring and evaluations
Growth Incentives: Quarterly bonuses tied to membership expansion, client retention, and program development
Profit Sharing: Eligible for our 10% profit-sharing program
For reference, this hourly rate equates to approximately $60,000 - $90,000 annually for instructors working 30-40 hours per week, with further upside through profit sharing and bonuses.

* Continue education and promote NWTC apprenticeship programs through conferences.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND WORK EXPERIENCE
* Completion of Apprenticeship Program OR Journey level in subject area OR Associate's degree in related field and five years of direct occupational experience.
* Occupational experience may include positions as:
* Substation Electrician
* Specific on the job experience in:
* Troubleshooting and repair of substations.
* Installation, testing and maintenance of high and medium voltage electrical equipment related to power transmission and distribution with specialization on substations.
* Oversight of construction and commissioning o new equipment, routine maintenance and testing, analyzing test results, troubleshooting faulty equipment and monitoring the operation of substations.
* Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagram, and technical engineering related information.
* Repairing and replacing substation equipment and components.
* Proficient in above and below ground equipment
* NESC and NEC Electrical Safety codes
* Work safely around high and medium voltage, construction operations and equipment, and electrical hazards.

Summary
The Ignite Scholar role is ideal for talented biomedical researchers who have recently completed their doctoral degree and seek a mentored pathway toward a tenure track faculty position. The research track is designed to provide a platform for building a robust research program with minimal initial teaching responsibilities. The successful candidate will work closely with a senior mentor at NEOMED to develop an independent research career. * At least 50% of the Ignite Scholar's time in the graduate education track will be protected for educational research, dissemination, and grant writing.
* Conduct collaborative scholarly inquiry, write and publish quality papers, and participate in scholarly activities within the laboratory.
* Conduct innovative research within the mentor's lab, developing a new research initiative that melds the candidate's previous experience with the expertise of the research mentor.
* Collaborate with the mentor to formulate a personalized research development plan with clear milestones toward achieving research independence.

Mentorship and Career Development:

COACH RESPONSIBILITIES

Greet students as well as the parent(s)/guardian(s) individually prior to and at beginning of class
Maintain a dynamic, fun, motivational, and professional demeanor when leading class

Ensure cleanliness of the center including the lobby, bathrooms, and blue floors - this includes taking out the trash, sweeping and mopping, wiping down equipment, and sanitizing the mat at the end of a shift
Effectively use the KS Coach's App to record class data and provide records of data for parents (attendance, awards, etc.)
Communicate professionally with co-workers in Slack, our company messaging system, including periodic checks of messages when not in centers
Complete trainings through FranConnect as required by the HQ Training and Certification team
Must be able to work in a physically intensive environment - coaches may cover multiple miles in a shift moving through class, lifting and repeatedly moving equipment up to 25 pounds in weight.
Must be comfortable working "hands-on" with kids to ensure proper technique and ensure student safety.
Assist parents of students, ages 3 and younger, with the direction and flow of a class
Attend monthly center staff programming meetings to receive training for next' month's curriculum
Attend additional mandatory staff meetings as required by KidStrong Director
Learn and manage Coach KidStrong Camp - special classes held by centers when local schools are not operating (for example: Winter Break, Summer Break)
Must obtain certified status by the HQ Training and Certification team

* Group Fitness National Certification such as, ACE, AFAA, Spinning, YogaFit, Zumba, Beach Body, Mossa (formerly BTS), etc.
* Demonstrate the ability to move rhythmically to the beat of the music, including the ability to incorporate optimal usage of cueing, tempo, choreography, and safe transitional movement from one pattern to another
* Knowledge of safe exercise technique and group exercise principles
* Knowledge of basic physiology and body mechanics
* Performance of a variety of exercise routines
* Ability to operate and troubleshoot audio/visual equipment
* Able to meet the physical demands of the position including the ability to lift weights, bending, squatting, jumping, running, reaching, walking, hopping, spinning, and kicking.
* Up to date on current fitness and exercise trends
* Able to provide music that enhances the choreography of routines
* Professional and courteous demeanor
* Ability to communicate positively with potential members, current members, club guests, and all FITWORKS team members
* Willingness to be trained on all FITWORKS systems and processes
* Familiarity with CMS/CRM software a plus

* Utilization of CRM system to manage daily workload.
