Purpose and Scope/General Summary: We are looking for a Junior Merchandiser for Pilgrim's that is responsible for grain merchandising for a geographic segment of Pilgrim's feed mill footprint. The role will execute a truck grain origination program, assisting on all trade functions, and execute a farmer retention plan. This role will have direct interaction with farmers and commercial grain companies, as well as internal coordination with operations, accounting, and trade groups. This person will be located at our Corporate office in Greeley, CO.
Responsibilities:
Purchase grain, establish, maintain, and expand farmer/vendor relationships
Utilize computer programs to maintain purchase orders, sales orders, transportation reports, and position reports
Correspond with feed mills on inventories, to-arrives, deliveries and operations
Develop expertise in cash grain markets relevant to the geographic area
Monitor and ensure accuracy of contracts in SAP systems
Collaboration with Account Payable for payment inquiries
Communicate with suppliers for data regarding trades and shipments
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
4-year degree - preferably in Ag related field
Requires computer aptitude for database management and Microsoft Office programs
SAP experience preferred
Ability to work well within Commodity Trade team
Ability to learn all aspects of the PPC Trade business including vendors, logistics, sales, and administration
General knowledge of accounting process and ability to reconcile information
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with all levels of the organization and with external customers
Strong work ethic - self-motivated and driven
Strong attention to detail
Knowledge of agriculture is a plus but not required

Purpose and Scope/General Summary: Pilgrim's is seeking candidates for a Senior Internal Auditor role. This position is based in Greeley, Colorado is a key contributor within the Corporate Internal Audit team in performing internal audits, Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) compliance and other projects as assigned. Audits are performed to assess the risk over the internal control environment, compliance with corporate policies, assess controls across the company, and to identify operational efficiency. This position will contribute to SOX testing efforts, including documentation of process walkthroughs, internal control testing, and follow up testing of remediated deficiencies for business process controls.
Responsibilities:
Participate in company audits using a “Risk Based Methodology”, enabling the audit team to obtain exposure to a large variety of company operations and personnel.

Qualifications:

Purpose and Scope/General Summary: We are looking for a Packaging Engineer I to join our Pilgrim's/Prepared Foods R&D team here in Greeley, CO! This person will work with the R&D team to deliver and maintain the current packaging portfolio. You will have a variety of assignments within quality, optimization, sustainability, and innovation across different substrates and platforms to develop your technical capabilities across the business.
Responsibilities:
Manage and fulfill packaging workflow requests and inquiries within SAP (IPS) and other related systems.
Create and manage packaging specifications and BOM reviews.
Plan and execute production line trials and qualification tests at plants for packaging components, making observations, documenting procedures and results, and drawing conclusions.
Develop packaging for consumer and commercial applications, compatibility, and performance testing for primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging.
Provide onsite monitoring and technical assistance to operations when testing/manufacturing new products.
Lead commercialization of packaging changes and implementation of new items and processes.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in product designing, packaging or related engineering fields.
1-2 years of experience in packaging design and development strongly preferred
Familiarity or working knowledge of SAP (IPS)
Working knowledge of packaging software (ArtiosCAD and CAPE or TOPS)
Knowledge of ASTM packaging testing methods
