The Branch Fleet Technician will be responsible for maintaining diesel equipment and hydrovac operation by performing inspections, preventive maintenance, and necessary adjustments and alignments. Corrects vehicle deficiencies and keeps accurate records with guidance and direction. Manages work orders in Fleetio to ensure comprehensive documentation and tracking. What You'll Be Doing: • Performs inspection, diagnosis and repair of assigned vehicles and equipment and preventative maintenance such as oil changes and greasing of trucks. • Conducts safety checks on trucks. • Maintains a clear line of communication to the Branch Manager and Regional Fleet Staff and other staff in the maintenance department. • Keeps the Hydrovac Fleet operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance. • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical and regulation publications. • Occasionally may perform service calls for emergency breakdowns. • Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate/OSHA Standards and performs all work in accordance with established procedures. What We're Looking For: • Education: High School Diploma. • Licensed Heavy Duty Technician. • Driver's License required; Class B CDL license is preferred. • Demands include frequent sitting, standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, bending, lifting, and reaching. Prior management experience is a plus. * High degree of mechanical ability including electrical and natural gas compression. * Ability to teach and communicate both technical and soft skills to FSTs aiding in their training and development. * Experience reading and understanding technical manuals. * Thorough knowledge of relevant HSE procedures and regulations. * Experience in configuring natural gas compression equipment. * Solid computer and communication technology skills. * Ability and interest in further developing people and business management skills. * Ability and flexibility to work extended hours including periodic on-call weekends. * Applicant must have the ability to legally work in the U.S. Working Conditions: * Typically, an LST's work day consists of driving a USA compression service vehicle to customer locations to perform repair and maintenance activities. * Travel is required up to 75% of the time worked. * Periodic lifting requirements in excess of 50 lbs. * Ability to stand and walk on uneven and varied terrain, climb ladders and stairs; and stoop, squat, kneel, crouch and crawl depending on the task requirements. * Exposure to extremes in temperature and weather conditions depending upon assigned location. * Some exposure to high noise levels in excess of 85dBA that require ear protection, as well as exposure to potentially hazardous chemicals and materials. * Working conditions in natural gas compression vary from one job site to another. Some job sites are indoors in compressor stations while other sites are outside, exposed to a variety of weather conditions. * There is a strong emphasis on safety while working with heavy equipment and machinery.

Summary: This position will repair and maintain pipelines, equipment, and performance of work associated with the operation and maintenance of gas and liquid facilities and pipelines. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The essential job duties for this position are listed below: * Inspect, maintain, and operate facilities including pipelines, valves, filters, pumps, gas compressors, storage tanks, and pump station equipment in a reliable and efficient manner while in compliance with the Partnership's procedures and regulatory requirements * Conduct Damage Prevention activities including pipeline patrols, one-calls, locating and marking pipelines, and inspecting line crossings, excavations, and other activities affecting the pipeline * Maintain working knowledge of regulatory requirements, perform required tasks, and complete associated documentation (OSHA, DOT, EPA, etc.) * Plan, organize, and prioritize assigned responsibilities and coordinate work with employees and contractors * Coordinate and communicate with outside parties including landowners, public agencies, contractors, utilities, and other pipeline operators * Actively participate and provide leadership in safety programs and initiatives and follow policies and procedures * Provide on-call support for areas of responsibility on a rotating basis * Comply with partnership safety policies and procedures * Perform energy isolation lockout/tagout procedures (LOTO) Required Education: * High school diploma or GED preferred.
