Airframe: King Air 200
Schedule: 7 Days On and 7 Days Off
Annual Salary Range: $106,939 - $117,633
Incentives Include:
15,000 Sign-On Bonus (Must Complete Training and Check-Ride).
40,000 Retention Bonus (There is a 6 Month Waiting Period and This is a 3 Year Program).
Up to 3,000 in Relocation Assistance.
Company Paid Crew Housing.
We're hiring a fixed wing King Air 200 Pilot to provide medical air transportation services to our customers. This pilot will be qualified to fly our King Airplanes. Scheduled shifts run 7/7 and service day or night trips. Safety is a key pillar of our services; therefore, all of our pilots work on a quality, professional team that are committed to high safety standards for the crew and our customers.
Minimum Required Qualifications
Commercial Airplane Multi Engine Land (C-AMEL) Required.
Must be willing and able to obtain ATP within 5 years of employment.
The ideal candidate will have single pilot IFR experience.
Previous medevac and/or cargo experience preferred.
Valid and unexpired driver's license.
Current FAA First or Second Class Medical Certificate.
2,500 Total Flight hours.
1,000 PIC hours.
500 Cross Country hours.
500 Multi-Engine hours.
100 Night hours.
75 Instrument (50 actual) hours.
Preferred Education:
Minimum of High School Diploma or GED equivalent is desired.
Responsibilities:
Pilot will work with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities.
Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches as described in the appropriate manuals, including all FAR and company requirements, and aircraft cleanliness duties.
Maintain accurate company and regulatory documentation and record keeping for shifts, load manifests, etc.
Effectively communicate and collaborate with both air and ground dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners.
Provide shift change info to transitioning pilot and team and follows protocols for recording company change board details.
Pilots are accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing ground and air training.
Working Conditions:
Required to work in outside weather conditions.
May need to deice the plane, assist with towing the aircraft and maneuvering in and out of the hangar, prep the plane for flight.
Physical Demands:
Required to stand, walk, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
Must be able to lift 70 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distant vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities
Essential Functions include the following: • Operates Air Methods' aircraft in a safe and legal manner. • Completes pre-flight before every flight verifying the aircraft is in an airworthy condition by sign off of Daily Flight Log. Pilots will perform a complete walk around of the aircraft prior to entering the cockpit for flight and upon completion of each flight. • Final authority with regard to operations of aircraft and for the safety of passengers, cargo and equipment. • Must be thoroughly familiar with all aircraft and medical systems of backup aircraft utilized at operational area and ensures that the medical flight team is familiar and comfortable with the medical interior and systems. • Responsible for completion of required documentation. • Able to conduct detailed flight planning with little notice to exacting standards • Participates regularly in Air Methods meetings, activities, projects, committees and community outreach
* Prioritize safety by meticulously completing pre-flight checks to ensure the aircraft's airworthiness, signing off the Daily Flight Log and conducting thorough walk-arounds before and after each flight.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. Responsibilities
Essential Functions include the following:
• Operates Air Methods' aircraft in a safe and legal manner.
• Completes pre-flight before every flight verifying the aircraft is in airworthy condition by sign-off of the Daily Flight Log. Performs a complete walk-around of the aircraft prior to entering the cockpit for flight and upon completion of each flight.
• Ensures aircraft and weather conditions are airworthy to transport medical crew and patient to receiving hospital within an assigned operational area. Responsible for compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR), Aeronautical Information Manual (AIM), General Operations Manual guidelines (GOM), and thorough knowledge of Air Methods policies and procedures.

• Pilots must have flown in category for a commercial operator, or in the military, within the previous 24 months
